An art organization in Lahaina is seeking additional teachers and funding for its children’s art programs.

The Lahaina Arts Guild is a non-profit group that provides free art education opportunities for Maui’s keiki and military veterans.

LAG announced Thursday that they will be offering free art classes for about 700 children at the King Kamehameha III Elementary School and the Lahaina Cannery Mall next month.

But right now, the group only has 10 volunteer teachers.
