Todayʻs Maui Fair Event Line Up
The Maui Fair will be opening its gates at 10 a.m. this morning. Here is a line up of todayʻs fair events and entertainment:
Baby of the Year contest:
Now in its 20th year, the Baby of the Year contest will kick off at 2:30 p.m. at the fair mainstage. This yearʻs competition will feature 97 contestants vying for crown.
Contestants will be judged on their clothing, healthiness, and personality. The five highest-scoring babies will receive prizes from the Maui Fair.
Last yearʻs winner was Styles Kahiau Alexander of Kahului, the son of Dezmond Alexander and Tiare Gorospe.
Shuttle:
There will be free park and ride bus services from parking stations in Wailuku, Kahului, and the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center to the fairgrounds. Click here for a list of the shuttle schedule.
Entertainment Schedule:
11 a.m.: Michael Mina
12:10 p.m.: Kamaka Camarillo
1 p.m.: Country Knights Band
2:30 p.m.: Baby of the Year
5 p.m.: Kaina Kountry
6:30 p.m.: Da Braddahs
7:30 p.m.: Nuʻu Kahalehau and Shane the “Hawaiian Homeboy”
9:30 p.m.: Maoli

6-6:10 p.m.: Kaliyamaʻs Exergy35 Edutainment
6:10-6:15 p.m.: Cirque Jolie (stilt walker)
6:15-6:25 p.m.: UJAM- 808 Dance Crew
6:25-6:30 p.m.: T-Rex Dinosaur
Pā Hale Hawaiʻi: The parents of Pūnana Leo o Maui will be hosting traditional Hawaiian cultural demonstrations, keiki activities, and a series of speakers. Click here for a full schedule.
