Ross Opens Third Maui Store, New Anchor Tenant at Lahaina Gateway
Lahaina Gateway shopping center in West Maui welcomed new anchor tenant Ross Dress for Less over the weekend.
The discount retailer has taken over the former OfficeMax location, debuting an 18,620 square foot store that marks its third location on Maui.
Ross Dress for Less is the largest off-price apparel and home fashion chain in the US. With this new opening, Ross will operate 23 stores in Hawaiʻi and a total of 1,528 locations in the US and Guam.
Property managers say the addition of the retailer is a major step in the ongoing revitalization of the center.
“Along with our community, we have been highly anticipating the opening of Ross at Lahaina Gateway, and are thrilled to be the first West Maui location for the discount retail leader,” said Sandra Brown, Lahaina Gateway’s property manager. “The addition of Ross to our merchant directory is a major step in the ongoing revitalization of Lahaina Gateway as we diversify our portfolio to meet consumer demand in the area.”
Lahaina Gateway’s tenant lineup includes nationally and locally recognized merchandise and service retailers including: Foodland Farms, Foot Locker, Local Motion, Claire’s Boutique, David’s Happy Nails, Galan Sports Chiropractic, Go Wireless, Island Cream Co., Mahina Boutique, Minit Medical, Moku Roots, Plush Beauty Lounge, Supercuts, Teddy’s Bigger Burgers, Rainbow Dialysis Lahaina, and The Vitamin Shoppe.
