Inaugural Halloween Pineapple Carving Contest Kicks Off at 505 Shops

Pacific O hosts its inaugural Halloween Pineapple Carving Contest at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019.

All winning entries will be displayed at the 505 Shopping center until Halloween.

First place wins a gift certificate to Pacific O Restaurant and second place receives a gift certificate to Surfside Pizza. Winners to be announced on the Pacific O Maui Instagram, with contestants to be displayed on the restaurant’s social media accounts throughout the week.

Also, holiday revelers are invited to head down to the 505 this Halloween after the 40th Annual keiki parade and keiki dance party in Campbell Park for a “good old fashioned” 505 trick or treat.

“Come and see the newly renovated shopping center and stop in for some dinner and drinks at Pacific O, Betty’s Beach Cafe, Spanky’s or Surfside Pizza,” said organizers.

Buses are also available this year on the Roberts Hawaiʻi Halloween Express shuttle from Kīhei and Wailuku. For ticket and schedule information visit www.visitlahaina.com. The Maui Bus will offer extended service for its Westside Kāʻanapali and Nāpili Islander routes.
