Kaiser Permanente Names Riggs Director of Clinic Operations on Maui

Kaiser Permanente Hawaiʻi has announced that Diana “Jill” Riggs has been promoted to director of clinic operations on Maui. She will also serve as the Wailuku Ambulatory Surgical Center administrator beginning December 1.

In her new role, Riggs will oversee clinic management and lead administrative operations as well as key regional initiatives to improve member satisfaction and quality of care.

Riggs has been with Kaiser Permanente since 2011, starting as a primary and specialty care charge nurse and working her way up to senior clinic manager, overseeing all clinical services at the Wailuku Medical Office. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Riggs was an emergency room charge nurse at Maui Memorial Medical Center.

“Over the past eight years, Jill has been a valuable member to our Kaiser team on Maui, allowing us to deliver the highest quality care to our members,” said Mark Linscott, executive director, strategic planning at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii. “We are thankful that she will continue to apply her experience to a key leadership role in our clinic and surgical center operations.”

Riggs holds an associate’s degree in nursing from University of Hawaiʻi Maui College, a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina and a Master of Science in nursing from Gonazaga University in Spokane, Washington.
