The Pacific Whale Foundation recently raised $20,000 for its signature Keiki Whalewatch program through its annual online auction.

Foundation representatives say the program aims to provide customized whale watches for Mauiʻs youth and educators to “strengthen connections to the marine environment and build memories that will last a lifetime.”

The funds raised will allow the program to continue next year.

Featuring items from local businesses, the auction featured items like a wine tasting party, a custom painted surfboard, a private photography session. Items were donated by employees and board members.

PWF holds the auction each November during the “Welcome Home the Whales” kickoff event.
