HMSA Kaimana Awards Calls For Applications
The 2020 HMSA Kaimana Awards & Scholarship Program is celebrating its 15th year of recognizing students who excel in academics, athletics, community service, healthy activities, and sportsmanship.
HMSA is looking for public and independent high school students who understand the importance of balance in the classroom, on the playing field, and in the community.
Up to 15 scholarships valued at $5,000 each will be awarded to high school seniors graduating in 2020.
Applicants must be a high school senior graduating from a Hawaiiʻ high school in 2020 with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75. They must also have participated in a league-sanctioned sport during at least one of their high school years and must be involved in community service activities.
Scholarship applications are available on HMSA’s website.
Applications must be received by HMSA or the Hawaiʻi High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020.
