Maui Crime March 1 – March 7: Burglaries, Break-ins, Thefts
Maui police responded to 12 burglaries, 8 vehicle thefts and 8 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from March 1 to March 7, 2020.
Burglaries were up 50 percent from the week before, when 8 incidents were reported. Vehicle thefts increased 14 percent from the week before when 7 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins decreased percent from the previous week, when 10 incidents were reported.

Hoʻolehua:
- Sunday, March 1, 8:02 a.m.: 2400 Block of Lihi Pali Avenue, Hoʻolehua. Residential, unlawful entry.
Kahului:
- Monday, March 2, 7:28 a.m.: 2000 Maui Veterans Hwy., Kahului at Central Maui Baseyard. Non-residential, forced entry.
- Monday, March 2, 11:24 a.m.: 410 Hina Ave., Kahului at Kahului School. Non-residential, unlawful entry.
- Friday, March 6, 3:28 p.m.: 700 Block of Lalani Circle, Kahului. Residential, unlawful entry.
