Maui Federal Credit Union officials today announced the cancellation of its annual membership luncheon scheduled for Sunday, March 29 at the Maui Beach Hotel Ballroom.

The business meeting portion will still take place at the hotel, but there will be no food, refreshments, door prizes, and distribution of gifts. The meeting will start promptly at 11:30 a.m.

Members who have purchased their tickets may request for a refund at the Main Office in 107 East Wākea Avenue in Kahului, and will receive a free gift at that time.

“The decision to cancel was after much consideration to take a proactive approach to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and to ensure our valued members and employees are not put at risk of becoming ill,” said Maui FCU President and CEO Clayton Fuchigami.

Maui FCU hours of operation remain the same, but customers are advised to take advantage of hand sanitizing stations available at the facility. For questions, call (808) 873-5050.
