Slappy Cakes Temporarily Closes Restaurant Amid COVID-19 Concerns

Update: (March 21, 2020)

Slappy Cakes announced Saturday afternoon that the business will temporarily close for the health and safety of its staff and guests.

“We will reopen as soon as is safely possible, thanks everyone for your support and please stay safe,” a statement from the restaurant read.

The restaurant will be closed until further notice.

Restaurant representatives announced today that Slappy Cakes in Lahaina will be offering take out daily from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

“We have temporarily suspended full service dining and do-it-yourself pancakes,” an announcement from the restaurant read.

“We are taking every precaution recommended by the CDC, WHO, and the state of Hawaiʻi in order to help minimize the spread of covid19 on Maui.”

Walkins are welcome and curbside delivery is available by request.
