High season in Maui real estate has arrived, and according to a report from Fidelity National Title & Escrow, home and condominium sales have increased from last year.
According to the real estate services company, 168 homes were sold on Maui in February, an 18 percent rise from last February.

A total of 261 condominiums were sold in February, 4 percent more than last year. Additionally, the median sales price for condominiums on the island increased 6 percent.
According to the report, the total dollar volume for home sales rose 10 percent, and increased 6 percent for condominium sales.
The median days that homes and condominiums spent on the market also decreased from last year.
By contrast, land sales dipped 11 percent, with a 21 drop in median sales price and a 54 percent decrease in total dollar volume.
