Independence Day Landfill Changes in Maui County

The County of Maui, Department of Environmental Management will alter hours of operation at the Central Maui Landfill and the Olowalu Convenience Center on July 4, 2011 due to the Independence Day Holiday.
The hours of operation will be as follows:
- Central Maui Landfill: 6 a.m to noon
- Olowalu Convenience Center: 8 a.m. to noon
- EKO compost: 6 a.m. to noon
There will be no change in operation at the Hana, Molokai and Lanai landfills, which will be closed as usual on July 4.
Residential refuse pick up will be on a regular schedule for the Island of Maui.
