Delores was full of life and a very caring and loving person, and she loved to feed everyone that came over to visit. She lived most of her adult life in Denver Colorado until the passing of her husband Bob.
She had an adventurous spirit and she and her sister Jerrie decided to sell everything and move to Hawaiʻi after visiting her cousin Margie in Naʻalehu in 2002. Delores was a devout Catholic and loved Father Steve, whom was also a big part of the reason the sisters moved to Hawaiʻi. She loved the island life and viewing the whales, dolphins and other wildlife. She also loved her children, grandchildren, and Jerrie’s boys.
Delores Virginia Anderson was born March 10, 1930 in Muskegon Michigan to Raymond and families, which made it hard being so far away, but she had lots of visits from everyone over the years. Delores stayed close with her cousin Margie and Margie’s husband Bob as they would spend their winters in a house just up the street from hers. Her close friend Judy was also a big part of here life and stayed and took care of her just before her passing. Delores touched all that knew her and she will be deeply missed.Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo.
