Kapalua Golf Announces Re-Opening Dates and Protocols
Kapalua Golf will re-open to the public from Wednesday, May 6, on the Bay Course and Friday May 8 on the Plantation Course. Both golf courses will be operating on a limited schedule with new protocols in place to protect the health of golfers and staff.
Golfers can book up to five days prior to their tee time and all reservations must be paid in advance at the time of booking through the website www.golfatkapalua.com.
“Kapalua Golf will be offering a discounted COVID-19 relief rate for both golf courses during these challenging times,” according to a company announcement.
In order to complete a tee time reservation, guests will be asked to acknowledge that they have read the new protocols.
Days of Operation for May 2020 (All Tee Times are 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.):
- Bay Course – Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Plantation Course – Fridays and Saturdays
Visitors are required to show valid ID and proof (ie. plane ticket) that they have been on Maui for 15+ days. This is a state regulation and we will not allow anyone on property within the 14-day quarantine period. Documentation will be required upon golf check in.
Kapalua’s Practice Facility, Kapalua Tennis Garden, and Kapalua Golf Academy are currently closed.
This past weekend, Kapalua Golf invited Kapalua Club Members for a free round of golf on the Plantation Golf Course. In lieu of green fees and gratuities, the members donated $1,990 to the Maui Food Bank in support COVID-19 relief efforts.
