Maui Police Launch Citizen Online Reporting System for Non-Emergencies
The Maui Police Department has launched a Citizens Online Police Reporting System that allows users to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report for free.
This online reporting system is for non-emergencies only.
If it is an emergency, the public should call 911.
To determine if you are able to use the online police report filing system, the following must apply:
- The incident being reported is not an emergency.
- The incident occurred within the County of Maui, which includes Maui, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi.
- There is no physical evidence to turn over.
If the reporting information meets the above criteria, you are eligible to file the report online.
The online police report filing system is accessible at www.mauipolice.com. Users should select the Online Police Report icon. An informational sheet will appear with instructions. Click on the Maui Police Department OnLine Reporting LINK icon. A secondary screen will appear with a list of incident types, along with definitions and examples of reports that can be filed online.
If the reporting incident is not listed, you will have to call the Maui Police Department’s non-emergency number (808) 244-6400 to file your report.
