Ho‘olehua Post Office Reopens Today
The Hoʻolehua Post Office, located in a leased structure at 69-2 Pu‘upe‘elua Avenue on Moloka‘i, reopened for business today.
Effective today, usual hours of operation resume from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The facility had been temporarily closed since last Wednesday due to structural concerns. It was cleared for operational use after a thorough assessment by a structural engineer.
“We want to thank our customers for their patience and understanding during the temporary closure” said USPS Manager of Post Office Operations Gary Logan, who oversees all neighbor island postal operations. “The safety and security of our customers and employees is our top priority.”
The Hoʻolehua Post Office provides retail services and PO Box mail delivery to about 450 customers. It does not provide street mail delivery.
