Amid New Restrictions, The Shops at Wailea Offers Outdoor Dining and Takeout for All

Though the recent announcement of Maui’s “Safer Outside” initiative will limit indoor capacities and put restrictions on those who can dine in, management at The Shops at Wailea says locals and visitors alike can still enjoy meals from their favorite restaurants with outdoor dining offerings or by utilizing takeout options.

Below is a curated list of The Shops’ outdoor dining and takeout options. All restaurants are practicing social distancing between tables and observing Maui County health and safety guidelines.

• The Pint & Cork – With their intimate lanai, guests can enjoy their pub eats, craft brews and cocktails while basking in the island breeze. Hawaiʻi residents can receive a 20% kamaʻāina discount on all food items with valid ID. Those who may want their pub eats at home can order takeout from 12-5 p.m. Wednesday-Monday. • Lineage – Home to Korean and Chinese Asian Fusion, all guests can still enjoy Lineage’s famous Hawaiian fried chicken and more on the lānai. Hawaiʻi residents can receive a 10% kamaʻāina discount with a valid ID. Takeout is available at all times. Open six days a week from 5-9 p.m. Closed on Tuesdays. • Longhi’s – This Italian eatery offers a beautiful open-air lānai, which provides a tranquil dining experience. From red sauce pasta to Hawaiian pancakes, they have plenty of menu items to choose from, and guests can order takeout at any time during business hours. • Island Gourmet Markets – Guests can easily grab their food and savor it at their small lanai on the side of the market. • Lappert’s – For dessert, guests can visit Lappert’s for their creamy gelato and volcanic sundaes. And for those who enjoy a little home treat, Lappert’s offers pints and quarts to go. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
