A GoFundMe account has been set up to raise about $8,000 for fence restoration and repairs of the StoneWave Skate Park, a part of the Pāʻia Youth & Cultural Center.

The skate park is used by hundreds of youth on Maui and is beloved by North Shore families.

“We are so grateful for all the families in our community who make the StoneWave Skate Park the Maui favorite, and we thank you for helping us in our mission to build community through our youth,” read an announcement PYCC on its GoFundMe page. “For the safety of the hundreds of youth who skate here, it is time to rebuild our fence. Your donation helps and every dollar counts.”
