Lahaina Quest Night at the Museum, Aug. 19
The Lahaina Restoration Foundation presents a unique experience of one-of-a-kind sleepovers for families at historic sites in Lahaina Town. The first sleepover of the series, Night at the Museum, takes place on Aug. 19, 2023.
“Our guests of a Night at the Museum will have the chance to experience and immerse themselves in Lahaina’s past in a brand new way,” said Kimberly Flook, Deputy Director of Lahaina Restoration Foundation. “Our sleepovers bring a whole new appreciation of a site. We offer guests quality time with staff, lots of elbow room, and a clearer picture of what life was like in each space. They aren’t limited in where they can go, surrounded by strangers and by daytime constraints, as regular visits usually are.”
Each sleepover includes activities, crafts and snacks from the past. Everything needed for the overnight stay, including cots, sheets, pillows, toiletry kits and a continental breakfast, will be supplied and is included in the participation fee.
The Night at the Museum sleepover program is for families with children in Grades 1 to 8 (older and younger siblings are welcome). A guardian must be present.
Participation cost is: $50 per person/keiki (5 years old and above), $40 per person/keiki (5 years old and above) for LRF members. Reservations are required.
