Vehicles Thefts & Break-ins on Maui Oct 16-22, 2011

There were a total of 17 vehicle thefts and 10 vehicle break-ins on Maui in the third week of October.

The incidents were spread over different areas of the island between October 16th and 22nd.

The highest concentration was in West Maui where seven thefts occurred in Lahaina and five break-ins were reported in Kaanapali over seven days.

Kaanapali:

Vehicle break-ins:

• Wednesday, 10/19/11, 3 p.m.: Halawai Drive.  2099 Blue Ford F150.  Theft-1.
• Wednesdsay, 10/19/11, 8 p.m.:  Lower Honoapiilani Road at Kaanapali Shores.  2010 Black Dodge Charger.  Theft-1.
• Wednesday, 10/19/11, 11 a.m.: Lower Honoapiilani Road at Kaanapali Shores.  2010 Black Dodge Charger.  Theft-1
• Wednesday, 10/19/11, 5 p.m.:  Halawai Drive at Executive Transportation.  2004  Blue Chevy Avalanche.  Theft-1
• Wednesday, 10/19/11, 2:15 p.m.:  Kai Malino Parkway at Honua Kai Resort & Spa.  2003 Silver Jeep Wrangler.  Thef-1
