Focus groups set for Kuhua/Mill Camp property owners to discuss rebuilding

Maui County will hold focus groups early next month for Kuhua/Mill Camp property owners to discuss rebuilding in the area devastated by the August 2023 wildfire.

The sessions will be held in the Office of Recovery-West Maui at the Lahaina Gateway, 325 Keawe St., Suite 102B (near Ace Hardware). The groups will address roadway and rebuilding information, current projects and actions owners can take now. There also will be an opportunity for questions and answers.

Focus groups will be limited to 15 participants per session. Property owners can sign up for one of three sessions:

• Thursday, Aug. 1, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 3, 10 a.m. to noon
• Saturday, Aug. 3, 2 to 4 p.m.

More focus groups will be scheduled, as needed.
