Maui Funding Available for Project Graduation Festivities

An estimated $30,000 in county funds are being made available for 2012 Project Graduation Programs on Maui.

The program promotes alcohol and drug free high school graduation celebrations.

Schools that want to apply for funding can do so through the County of Maui’s Volunteer Center website at www.handsonmaui.com.  (Go to “programs” and click on “Project Graduation.”)

The deadline for receipt of applications in January 20, 2012.  Notification of awards will be made in early February 2012.

Project Graduation is a part of the Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol (CMCA), a nationwide effort to reduce youth access to alcohol by changing community policies and norms.

Applications must be emailed to Maui Volunteer Center Coordinator, Wendy Stebbins, at [email protected].
