The arrest stems from an incident on May 5, 2010 in which Barrett and an unnamed motorist were involved in a confrontation.  Other alleged offenses include reckless driving, and 2nd degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

Barrett turned himself in at the Wailuku Police Station at around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, and was processed without incident.

He was released and a court date has been set for Monday, February 6, 2012, in Second Circuit Court.
