Resolution to celebrate 50th anniversary of Protect Kahoʻolawe ʻOhana, rescheduled to April 17

Resolution 26-50 was canceled from the April 2 council meeting agenda and will be rescheduled to the council’s April 17 meeting, Council Chair Alice L. Lee announced.

With the cancellation, no testimony or deliberations on the resolution will be accepted. Chair Lee will also announce this cancellation at the start of the meeting.

The resolution proposes to recognize the Protect Kaho‘olawe ‘Ohana for 50 years of dedication to aloha ‘āina in bringing an end to the bombing of the island.
