Queen Kaʻahumanu Center announced three free monthly events for Maui residents this school year, including bingo night, a children’s craft hour and a Polynesian hula show.

General Manager Kauwela Shultz said the events give the community a place to gather without needing much planning.

“Back-to-school season can be an especially busy time for families as everyone settles into new schedules and routines,” Shultz said. “These free monthly events give our community a reason to gather, reconnect, and simply have fun”.

Center staff host Bingo Night on the third Friday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m. at Center Court. Players can win merchandise and gift cards from mall retailers and restaurants, and organizers award a grand prize at the end of the evening.

HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts sponsors Keiki Club on the third Saturday of the month from 10 to 11 a.m. Craft materials are provided for children of any age or skill level.

Based at the Wonderful World of Aloha, ʻAumakua Productions and the Oni Foundation present a Polynesian Hula Show on the fourth Sunday of every month. The performances run from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Center Court and feature traditional hula, dance, music, storytelling and drumming.

Schedule updates can be found on the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center website or social media pages.
