Haleakalā National Park remains closed after Tropical Cyclone Lala 

Both districts of Haleakalā National Park remain closed while the park begins storm damage assessments and recovery. The park will reopen when it is safe to do so.

For safety, visitors and local residents should respect all State and County road closures. Notifications regarding park reopening will be posted on the park’s website and social media channels.

Visitors should monitor the Maui County website (Road Closure Notifications | Maui County, HI – Official Website) for updates regarding possible road closures.
