Summit District of Haleakalā National Park reopens after Tropical Storm Lala

The Summit District of Haleakalā National Park has reopened following recovery efforts related to Tropical Storm Lala. With this reopening, both districts of Haleakalā National Park are now open to visitors.
For everyone’s safety, visitors and local residents are asked to follow all state and county road closures. Visitors should continue to monitor the State of Hawaiʻi and Maui County websites for the latest updates on road conditions and potential closures.
