Habitat for Humanity Maui to host Disaster Recovery Fundraiser at Old Lāhainā Lūʻau

Habitat for Humanity Maui will host its 2026 Disaster Recovery Fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the historic Old Lāhainā Lūʻau. Marking three years since the devastating August 2023 wildfires, the special evening aims to raise critical funds to support ongoing home repairs, gap funding, and full housing reconstruction for displaced Maui families.
The benefit event, graciously hosted by Old Lāhainā Lūʻau, will feature traditional Hawaiian entertainment, a lavish lūʻau feast, a premium open bar, and heartfelt stories shared by community members and partner families. All proceeds from ticket sales, online donations, and corporate sponsorships will go directly toward restoring hope, long-term housing solutions, and community stability across Lahaina and Maui.
“This annual fundraiser is more than just an event; it is a profound testament to the resilience, aloha spirit, and unity of our community. Every ticket purchased and table sponsored helps us put hammers in hands to build permanent, affordable housing for families still on the long road to recovery,” said Matthew Bachman, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Maui.
Alongside the live evening event, the organization is launching another way to donate online, giving supporters worldwide the chance to win exclusive items to benefit long-term housing reconstruction for displaced Maui families. Learn more about the opportunity here.
