Seabury Hall now accepting applications for the 2027-2028 school year 

Seabury Hall, Maui’s leading independent college preparatory school, is now accepting applications for students entering grades 5-12 in the 2027-2028 school year.

Seabury Hall is a College Board AP Platinum Honor Roll School and blends academic rigor with a breadth of academic, athletic, and artistic programs. With an optimal student body size, the school balances the advantages of small class sizes where every student and community member is known, valued, and provided a physically and emotionally safe environment with the benefits of a larger institution capable of offering robust extracurriculars, vibrant student life, and personalized support. In this supportive climate, Seabury students develop the crucial soft skills, self-advocacy, and confidence to be truly seen, heard, and celebrated.

Driven by a commitment to continual innovation, the school recently completed a donor-funded renovation of its Arts, Innovation, and Music (AIM) Center and Digital Media Lab, alongside upgrades to its Air Riflery Practice Center. The upgraded AIM Center features an advanced flight simulator for aviation studies, an expanded workshop for 3D printing and programming, and a dedicated loft space for the Entrepreneurship course. Complementing these spaces, the new fully equipped Digital Media Lab is outfitted with new production computers, high-definition TV screens, studio lighting, and collaborative workstations for video and graphic production.

In addition to its exceptional educational opportunities, Seabury Hall awards over $1.5 million in need-based financial aid each year. Thanks to its generous donors and robust endowment, the school is proud to offer a host of scholarships including:

• Maunalei Scholarship– Four-year scholarship covering 100% of tuition for a qualified student of Hawaiian ancestry entering the 9th grade.
• Malone Scholarship – 100% tuition plus other school expenses for academically gifted students entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade. 
• ʻUlupalakua Scholarship – 100% tuition for a rising 9th grade student with demonstrated financial need. Preference given to students raised on Maui. 
• Simon Scholarship – For new students applying for admission to the 9th grade. Recipients may receive up to 50% of tuition cost.

Seabury Hall operates a need-blind admissions process, evaluating applicants strictly on their potential to thrive without regard to financial circumstances. To keep our community accessible, 25% of students receive need-based financial aid, which is determined through an independent evaluation following acceptance.

Interested Families are also encouraged to attend Seabury Hall’s Fall Open House on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 8:30-11 a.m to learn more about the school and its community. Interested families can register at: seaburyhall.org/admissions

The event will provide students and their families with an opportunity to learn more about Seabury Hall and will include an overview of the curriculum, presentations from faculty, students, and the Head of School, as well as a campus tour.
