Maui Preparatory Academy hosts “Paniolo Night” community celebration on Sept. 26

Maui Preparatory Academy (Maui Prep) will host Paniolo Night: Games, Grinds & Good Times, a free, community-wide celebration of Hawai’i’s paniolo (cowboy) heritage, on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 5 to 9 p.m. on the Maui Prep campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The evening will bring together students, families, and neighbors for an old-fashioned West Maui gathering featuring live music, a barbecue and chili dinner, and a lineup of activities for all ages, including carnival games, laser tag, and a mechanical bull. Attendees can also browse a vendor market and vintage tag sale, sample local vendors’ goods, and enjoy a live talent showcase featuring performers from the Maui Prep community.

Local vendors and artisans will be featured as well, including: Solshine and Co, Mamaberrrs’ Creations, Kala + Linake, Ciera’s Kitchen, By Zoe Alana, and Paniolo Cabinets.

Paniolo Night is made possible with support from local businesses and community partners, including Lahaina Stables, Amigo’s, Dean Otto Luxury Real Estate, Barefoot Minded Entertainment, Kealani’s Juice Co., and Maui Laser Tag.

The event is free and open to the public; no tickets are required. Food, vendor goods, and select activities may be available for individual purchase.
