MEO’s Kahi Kamaliʻi Infant and Toddler Center supports Maui families through licensed early childhood care. PC: MEO

Maui Economic Opportunity’s Kahi Kamaliʻi Infant and Toddler Center is available to families seeking care for children ages 12 months to 3 years. Located at 97 Mahalani Street in Wailuku, the program provides a safe, nurturing environment for young children while supporting families as they work, attend school or seek employment. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis as children age out of the program. If a slot is unavailable at the time of application, families are added to a waitlist for services.

The program operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with qualified caregivers who meet Department of Human Services licensing requirements.

Tuition is $1,800 per month. Families are encouraged to explore financial assistance through the State of Hawaiʻi Child Care Subsidy and Quality Care for Hawaiian Keiki via Maui Family Support Services. The County of Maui also provides scholarship tuition support to individuals who demonstrate financial need.

Families interested can contact MEO Early Childhood Services at 808-249-2988 for more information or to apply.
