SBA disaster assistance available for Hurricane Lowell damage and economic injury

The US Small Business Administration is encouraging partners, stakeholders, and local officials to help share information about available disaster assistance for eligible private nonprofit organizations including faith-based impacted by Hurricane Lowell occurring Sept. 6 – 9.

Eligible nonprofits in designated Hawaii counties of Maui and Kauai may apply for low-interest federal disaster loans for physical damage and economic injury.

Attached is a flyer with important eligibility details, deadlines, and application information in which can be shared with nonprofit partners and impacted communities.

Key deadlines:

  • Physical Damage Loans: Dec. 7
  • Economic Injury Loans: July 7, 2027
