By the end of the day, Maui County residents will have decided the the Mayor, nine Council races (two uncontested), five state house seats representing parts of Maui County, two state constitutional amendments, and 20 county charter amendments.
All ballots must be received by 7 p.m. today. If you have not voted already, do not mail your ballot. It’s too late. It will not be counted.
But ballots can be dropped off at any of the ballot drop boxes set up island-wide.
For those who want to cast their vote in person, Voter Service Centers are open on Maui at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku, on Molokaʻi at the Mitchell Pauole Community Center, and on Lānaʻi at the Old Youth Center (717 Fraser Ave) and from 7 a.m. until the polls close at 7 p.m. If you’re not registered to vote, you can register at the Voter Service Center. Make sure to bring proper documentation that you are eligible to vote in the county.
