13th Annual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival welcomes more than 7,500 attendees

The 13th Annual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival wrapped up another successful year this weekend, welcoming just over 7,500 attendees to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Nov. 6 and 7, 2026. Attendance was comparable to last year, reflecting the continued popularity of Maui County’s largest products show and the community’s commitment to supporting locally made products and businesses.
Presented by the Maui Chamber of Commerce, with support from the County of Maui Office of Economic Development, the two-day event brought together more than 140 vendors and food trucks from Maui, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi, showcasing an extraordinary variety of locally made foods, art, jewelry, clothing, home goods, gifts, specialty products and more.
Friday’s Buyers Preview and Exclusive Shopping Day was a great success, providing wholesale buyers, retailers and distributors with valuable opportunities to discover new products, meet directly with local entrepreneurs, and explore potential business partnerships. The day also welcomed shoppers seeking a more leisurely shopping experience and first access to the Festival’s extensive selection of Maui County-made products.
Friday’s festivities included the Festival’s opening ceremony and annual Booth Decorating Contest, recognizing the creativity, innovation and special attention vendors put into their displays and customer experiences.
Saturday’s Big Festival Day brought another wonderful celebration of Maui County’s talent and entrepreneurial spirit. Although dark clouds and early morning rain contributed to a slower start, the weather improved, the crowds grew, and the day blossomed into a beautiful celebration in Maui nei.
Throughout the day, enthusiastic shoppers explored vendor booths, sampled locally made specialties, enjoyed delicious offerings from 12 food trucks in the Pasha Hawaii Food Court, and discovered unique products while connecting with the people and stories behind them.
Festivalgoers enjoyed live musical entertainment featuring Braddah Joe, Jordan Soon and Arlie Asiu, along with an exciting lineup of stage activities hosted by emcee Kathy Collins.
The Festival’s popular Meet the Makers presentations provided an opportunity to hear directly from local entrepreneurs about their inspiration, products, business journeys and creative collaborations. A special fashion showcase spotlighted Maui County designers Catalina, JM Associations and Nā Lima Collective, celebrating locally inspired fashion and artistry.
Festival Bucks prize drawings and two special Pasha Hawaii Certificate of Passage drawings added to the excitement, while the welcoming atmosphere, beautiful products and spirit of aloha made the Festival an enjoyable experience for families, friends, residents and visitors alike.
Vendor enthusiasm was especially gratifying, with participating businesses sharing how thrilled they were with this year’s Festival, the positive atmosphere and the opportunity to introduce their products to new customers.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the success of this year’s Festival and the tremendous spirit of aloha shared throughout the weekend,” said Pamela Tumpap, President of the Maui Chamber of Commerce. “Even with Saturday’s rainy start, our community came out to celebrate and support our Maui County makers. Seeing the enthusiasm of our vendors, the wonderful products they created, and thousands of people choosing to shop local reminds us why this Festival is so important.”
Tumpap emphasized that the Festival’s value extends well beyond the two-day event.
“Every one of these businesses represents someone’s dream, investment, hard work and determination. Friday creates important opportunities to build wholesale relationships that can open new markets and generate sales throughout the year. Saturday brings our community together to support these entrepreneurs directly. Both are vital to strengthening our local businesses, creating jobs, diversifying our economy and building a more resilient Maui County.”
Now in its 13th year, the Festival continues to serve as an important economic development initiative, helping Maui County entrepreneurs expand their customer base, increase product awareness, establish new business relationships and reach markets beyond the islands.
