4 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Feb. 26 to Mar. 3, 2012

There were a total of 4 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between February 26 and March 3, 2012.

The incidents were reported in Kahului, Kihei, Napili and Wailuku.

Vehicles stolen included (1) Mercury Van; (2) mopeds; and (1) Dodge Nitro.

A single vehicle was recovered.

A complete run-down of incidents is listed below:

Kahului:

  • Saturday, March 3, 2012, 2 p.m.:  Lanui Circle at the Kahului Airport.  1999 White Mercury two-door van.  RECOVERED.

Kihei:

  • Wednesday, February 29, 2012, 11:30 p.m.:  Namauu Place.  2010 Silver & Red CPI USA moped.  License Place #: M0352 VIN #: RFTJ50A5AL800352.

Napili:

  • Thursday, March 1, 2012, 9 p.m.:  Lower Honoapiilani Road at the Maui Sands.  2011 White Dodge Nitro.  License Plate #: CV5H562 VIN#: 1D4PT4GK4BW556352.

Wailuku:

  • Monday, February 27, 2012, 9 p.m.:  Lower Main Street at Moped City.  2011 Yellow Kait moped.  License Plate #: MC0750.
