Maui 2012 Teen Expo Summer Kickoff

This year’s 2nd Annual Maui Teen Expo gets prepped for sun and fun with a 2012 “Summer Kickoff” theme. 

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui “Field of the Future.”

“The State of Hawai`i Department of Education last day of school is Thursday, May 24, so we are expecting all teens to come out and join us to celebrate with this year’s theme, Summer Kickoff,” said event coordinator Toni Rojas. 

The event will once again focus on the prevention of underage drinking.

Booths on site will feature teen-themed products, services and information including focus on: career and education, social services, and products, along with food and beverage concessions.

On-stage entertainment includes a High School Spirit Competition, B-Boy Showdown, popular local Teen Bands, Roselani Ice Cream Eating Contest, stage giveaways, and a finale performance by Ekolu.

This free public event, sponsored in part by County of Maui, Pacific Radio Group, Toni Rojas Event Design, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui.  It is also supported by Kiwanis Club International.

All teens and their families are welcome to attend.
