Memorial Services Tonight for Kula Crash Victim

Services for one of the five passengers who lost their lives in a tragic car crash on Maui last month will be held tonight.

Annastachia A.K. Cruz-Kalua, 19, will be remembered during an evening service at the Grace Bible Church in Upcountry, Maui.  Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m., and services start at 7 p.m.

Cruz-Kalua was an Assistant Manager at KM Polynesian Productions.

She is reportedly survived by her parents, Bill-Werner K. Manuel Jr., and Georgieanna K. Kalua; brothers, Devon-Werner Kalua-Manuel, Bill-Werner Manuel III, Quincy Manuel; sisters, Anela Manuel, Anna-Marie Manuel; grandmothers, Madelene Adams, Ivy Pagelsdorf; god mother, Yolanda; and numerous cousins and family members.

Cruz-Kalua was among five young adults who suffered fatal injuries in a March 25 crash on the Kula Highway. The driver of the vehicle survived, as the did occupants of another vehicle involved in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.

The service is the final of five as family and friends remember those who were fatally injured in the accident.

Others who lost their lives included: Karl T.A. Barrack, 20, of Makawao; Ambrose Pua Momoa Jr., 20, Wailuku; Remington Taylor Redwell, 20, Lahaina; and Steven Robert Shaw, 20, of Kula.
