Fraudulent Use of Credit Card in Kihei Investigated

Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual(s) responsible for the fraudulent use of a credit card at First Hawaiian Bank ATM in Kihei.

Authorities say an unidentified female used a stolen credit card to withdraw funds from the First Hawaiian Bank ATM on Lipoa Street in Kihei during an incident on April 11, 2012.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of the person in the surveillance photos is asked to contact Maui Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966, or toll free from the neighbor islands at (888) 242-6966.

Maui Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals in unsolved crimes.

The public should consider all wanted persons as dangerous and should not approach, follow or take other action that could put themselves in danger.
