By Maui Now Staff
The University of Hawaiʻi, Maui College of Agriculture & Natural Resources hosts its annual Spring Plant Sale on Wednesday, April 25, and Saturday, April 28, 2012.
New plants grown this year include geraniums with a variety of leaf colors, bright gazanias, tulip type anthuriums, ivy leaf geraniums, begonias and irises.
Students also planted local favorites such as green roses, pink bud roses, lavender, gardenias and vinca.
There will also be a large selection of native plants, from trees to ground-covers for landscaping use.
To reach the greenhouse, park in the main UHMC parking lot, and walk up past the Kalama building (towards the construction area of the new Science building). The entrance is just past the construction fence.
