Team 2439 Baldwin Robotics will also perform a free live robotics demonstration at the restaurant.

In March 2012, the Baldwin High School Robotics Team was recently crowned champions of the 2012 FIRST Hawaii Regional Robotics Championship.

Earlier last month, Baldwin Robotics traveled to Anaheim, California for 3 days of intense back-to-back robotic “mash-ups” at the national championships with more than 10,000 of the world’s brightest middle school, high school and university students and team mentors. Baldwin Robotics did not win any of the final awards at the VEX Robotics Competition World Championship this year.

The team is already planning for next year’s robot designs, the 2012/2013 VEX Robotics Competition game Sack Attack.  The object of the game is to attain a higher score than your opponent by picking up colored bean bags and placing them in a scoring trough that runs the length of the field.
