“Bottoms Up” Maui – Annual Brewers Festival Coming Soon

On Saturday, May 19, 32 craft breweries from Hawai’i and beyond sample their best lager, port, and stout beer from 3 to 7 p.m. at the MACC for Maui Brewers Festival 2012.

Maui Brewing Company and the MACC host the 4th annual, (obviously) 21-and-over event which includes food from 20 popular Maui restaurants and live music from GoMega, The Easy, Alika Nako’oka Band, and a special unannounced guest.

The festival also serves as fundraiser for the MACC, with proceeds benefiting arts and cultural programs for students, seniors, an the Maui community.

Some of the tasty and well-known breweries featured this year are Blue Moon Brewing Company, Primo Brewing & Malting Company, Redhook Ale Brewery, Samuel Adams, and Sierra Nevada.

Delicious island dishes will be available throughout the festival from favorite local restaurants like Flatbread & Co., Maui Tacos, Stella Blues, Whole Foods Market, Maui Tacos, Heavenly Dogs, KC’s Local Grinds, and several more.

Paid general admission includes free prizes, eight 40z beer samples in a keep-sake glass, unlimited food, and parking . The Happy Hour Package includes early admission at 2 p.m., to speak with brewmasters, reserved parking, all the perks of general admission, and a logo gift.
