Passengers on Hawaiian Airlines’ first-ever daily nonstop service from John F. Kennedy International Airport were greeted this morning with hula and live Hawaiian music as they arrived in Honolulu.

Today also marked the beginning of new codesharing and frequent flyer reciprocity agreements with JetBlue Airways. Hawaiian will place its HA code on select JetBlue-operated flights throughout the East Coast, and customers of each carrier’s frequent flyer program will be able to earn and redeem loyalty points or miles for travel on either airline.

Hawaiian Flight 51 departs JFK daily at 10 a.m. and arrives at Honolulu International Airport at 3 p.m. Flight 50 departs Honolulu daily at 3:05 p.m. and arrives in New York City at 6:55 the following morning.
