McDonalds of Lahaina Grand Re-Opening

McDonald’s of Lahaina will hold a grand reopening event on Saturday, July 7, 2012, to celebrate the newly remodeled restaurant.

The public is invited to attend and take part in the festivities beginning with a blessing at 9 a.m., led by Kahu Alalani Hill.

The blessing will be followed by entertainment from Gee Yung’s International Martial Arts, Dragon & Lion Dance Sports Association, Kahu Alalani Hill & Kamuela’s Halau, Barryne Rosario and Jasmine O’Brien, as well as prize giveaways with DaJAM, 98.3 FM, KJMD.   Keiki will also have the chance to meet Ronald McDonald at 11 a.m.

The event concludes at 2 p.m.

McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii has 86 restaurants and more than 5,200 employees in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan.

In Hawaii alone, the company has 76 restaurants and more than 4,600 employees.

McDonald’s total economic impact on the state, directly and indirectly, is about $285 million in spending and nearly 12,000 jobs in the community.
