Water customers on Kamehameha Avenue are advised of a planned water shut off on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, as crews work to replace a valve.

The shutdown will affect customers on Kamehameha Avenue between Wakea and Lono.  Other areas affected include Alehela Street between Lono Avenue and Kamehameha Avenue.

The work will impact customers for about six hours, beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, and continuing until 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012.

County officials ask that customers set aside some water to get them through the work period, and to conserve water at the same time.

Customers are asked to call the 24-hour service line (270-7633) only if a water problem occurs.
