15 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui July 8 to 14, 2012

There were a total of 15 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between July 8 and 14, 2012.

The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in:  (2) Honolua, (1) Hana, (5) Kahului, (1) Kapalua, (1) Halawa, (1) Lahaina, (2) Maalaea, (1) Napili, and (1) Wailea.

A complete run-down of incidents is listed below:

Honolua:

• Saturday, July 14, 2012, 11:30 a.m.:  Honolua-Mokuleia Bay Marine Life Conservation area.  2012 Red Ford Focus.
• Saturday, July 14, 2012, 11:30 a.m.:  Honolua-Mokuleia Bay Marine Life Conservation area.  1998 White Honda Civic.

Hana:

• Sunday, July 8, 2012, 5 p.m.:  Honokalani Road at Waianapanapa Park.  2010 Black Jeep Commander.

Kahului:

• Sunday, July 8, 2012, 11:30 a.m.:  Ka’ahumanu Avenue at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Shopping Center.  1992 Gold Nissan Sentra.
• Sunday, July 8, 2012, 5:25 p.m.:  West Wakea Avenue at Christ the King.  1993 Silver Honda Accord.
• Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 9:30 a.m.:  East Kamehameha Avenue, at the East side of the Ross parking lot.  2006 Black Toyota Tacoma.
• Thursday, July 12, 2012, 4:11 p.m.:  Uhu Street at the Kahului Community Center.  2003 Silver Toyota Corolla.
• Saturday, July 14, 2012, 7 p.m.:  Ala Luina Street at Kahului Harbor.  2003 Black Honda Civic.

Kapalua:

• Thursday, July 12, 2012, 3:30 p.m.:  Honoapi’ilani Highway at Honolua Bay.  2012 Black Ford Mustang.

Halawa:

• Saturday, July 14, 2012, 4 p.m.:  Surf spot off of Kamehameha V Highway known as “Halawa Valley.”  1946 Green Willy’s Overland SUV.

Lahaina:

• Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 8:56 p.m.:  Honoapi’ilani Highway at the Lahaina Cannery Mall.  2012 Blue Ford Mustang.

Maalaea:

• Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 6:45 a.m.:  Maalaea Harbor Shops Parking Lot.  2010 White Dodge Charger.
• Friday, July 13, 2012, 8:57 a.m.:  Maalaea Boat Harbor.  2011 White Dodge Charger.

Napili:

• Saturday, July 14, 2012, 4 p.m.:  Lower Honoapi’ilani Road at Mahinahina Beach.  2011 Blue BMW 320I.

Wailea:

• Saturday, July 14, 2012, 4:40 p.m.:  Wailea Alanui Drive at the Shops at Wailea north parking lot.  2012 Silver Chrysler Town and Country.
