Public Help Sought in Solving Waikapu ATV Thefts

Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with vehicle thefts on the Valley Isle.
Officials say they are trying to locate Kurt Meyer for questioning in the case. Meyer is described as 5’8” tall, and weighing 162 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Crime Stoppers and Maui Police are trying to solve a case involving the theft of All Terrain Vehicles in the Waikapu area.
Anyone with information concerning the identity of the person in the surveillance photo is asked to contact Maui Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966, or toll free from the neighbor islands at (888) 242-6966.
Maui Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals in unsolved crimes.
The public should consider all wanted persons as dangerous and should not approach, follow or take other action that could put themselves in danger.
The public is reminded that the information provided by authorities is merely an accusation, and all parties are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
