Applications Now Available for Maui’s Biggest Parade

Preparations are now underway for the 90th Maui Fair, and applications are now available to participate in the opening day parade.

The Maui Fair parade is scheduled to take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012.

The parade is touted as the biggest on the Valley Isle.

Applications are available for download online at www.mauifair.com and can be dropped off at the Maui Fair office, located in the parking lot of the War Memorial Gymnasium in Wailuku.

Office hours are between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Visitors are asked to call 242-2721 in advance to make sure someone is at the office.

Dates to remember:

  • Friday, September 7 by 2 p.m. – Parade Application Deadline
  • Wednesday, September 12 – Mandatory Parade Meeting, Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Haynes Meeting Room from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 27 – Parade starts 4:30 p.m. sharp
