Hawaiian Host, Inc., the manufacturer of Hawaiian Host Chocolates, has launched  “The Great Hawaiian Host-ess” campaign to find an individual whose looks and personality best exemplifies the gracious spirit of the company.

The campaign is utilizing Facebook and social media to find the Host-ess by allowing people to upload their photo for consideration. Entries are being accepted through October 31, 2012.

“We have long been recognized for being the originators of the chocolate macadamias and classic postcard style box,” said Hawaiian Host CEO and President Keith Sakamoto. “Now we are planning to update some of the look and feel of our products and will be utilizing this campaign as a catalyst for the change.”

“In an increasingly global marketplace, we are taking a look at everything we do and are working on strategies to keep us positioned for continued success,” said Sakamoto.

To enter, individuals should do so by visiting the Hawaiian Host website (www.hawaiianhost.com) or the Hawaiian Host, Inc. Facebook page (www.facebook.com/HawaiianHostInc) and click on the Great Hawaiian Host-ess Search link; then follow the steps to upload a photo.
