Jenna Long, the fuel sales manager at Pacific Biodiesel has received the Sales & Marketing Professionals Association’s 2012 SMEI Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award in the Green Services Category.

The Maui Fine & Frame, owned by Chad Parento, opens its new gallery today at the Rainbow Mall in Kihei.

Kaiser Permanente Hawaii has added several new physicians at its Maui clinics: David Becerril, MD, Family Medicine, Lahaina Clinic; Sally Daganzo, MD, Internal Medicine, Maui Lani Clinic; and Joanne Zenker, MD, Dermatology, Wailuku Clinic.

After 36 years, Gerald Saito, the senior vice president of Hawaii at Longs Drug Stores, retired on August 3.

Carlayna Nakamura has joined the Maui Memorial Medical Center Foundation as their development coordinator. Before joining the MMMC Foundation, Nakamura served as director of development at Hale Makua Health Services for 11 years.

Dukes Beach House in Lahaina is sponsoring a Holiday T-Shirt Design Contest in which the winner will have their designs featured on the restaurant’s holiday t-shirts and receive a $300 restaurant voucher.

On Saturday, September 1, Sisters & Co. Boutique and Salon, located at The Shops At Wailea, is holding a “Locks of Love” benefit offering free haircuts if you cut off 10 inches and donate it.

Maui Preparatory Academy has hired consultant Linda Morgan to assist in the process of looking for a new Head of School to replace  George C. Baker who plans to retire in June 2013.

Lyndon Dela Cruz , a licensed tatto artist for Righteous Ink, has opened Lanakila Designs, a decal design store, in Kaunakakai on Molokai.

Misaki Grocery and Dry Good, a family operated store on Molokai, celebrated 90 years in business.
