Maui Man Wanted on Warrants Sought

Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in locating 43-year-old Jay Kiakona Hano, (also known as Carl K. Hano) who is wanted for allegations of Terroristic Threatening.

Hano is described as 5’7” tall, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Hano is asked to contact Maui Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966, or toll free from the neighbor islands at (888) 242-6966.

Maui Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals in unsolved crimes.

The public should consider all wanted persons as dangerous and should not approach, follow or take other action that could put themselves in danger.

The public is reminded that the information provided by authorities is merely an accusation, and all parties are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
